LIVE UP TO YOUR
BRIGHTEST FUTURE
Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s School of Graduate & Professional Studies offers a fully accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program that is intentionally designed for busy, working adults hoping to sit for the national ASWB exam.
A bachelor’s degree in Social Work is the first step to becoming a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). After licensure, social workers pursue rewarding careers in a variety of settings, including mental health clinics, schools, child welfare and human service agencies, and hospitals. MVNU’s BSW program is affordable, flexible, and reputable, which means you can focus on working and learning—we’ll handle the rest.
You don’t have to choose between your career and your education. By taking one course at a time and attending class just one night a week, you can complete your degree and be ready to take your social work licensing exam in just 27 months.
WHY CHOOSE MVNU?
Take advantage of our tuition guarantee. Tuition is locked in after enrollment, and pay-per-course options are available.

TUITION GUARANTEE
MVNU offers a unique tuition guarantee; enrolled students’ course-by-course tuition does not increase for the duration of their studies—even if the university’s charges for tuition are increased. Payment is made on a course-by-course basis, and each student is assigned an advisor to guide them through the process of paying for school.
TUITION GUARANTEE
Though not required, students are encouraged to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. MVNU’s school code is 007085. Filling out the FAFSA is an important step in the financial aid process and is required for any financial aid to be awarded.

Attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University and earning my bachelor’s degree in social work not only gave me the confidence to pursue a new career path, but with the education I received, I’m now able to advocate for those less fortunate. I’m glad I invested time in my future at MVNU. I no longer ‘just have a job,’ but a career as a social worker.
